MFD 06 - Lead Sampling Technician Course [CANCELED]

When is a job well done? When disturbing old paint inside a home built before 1978, you need to perform a lead clearance exam to know for sure. Students successfully completing this course and the exam will have the key prerequisites to become a licensed lead sampling technician. Whether you become licensed or not, it will help you understand how your work and the work of others are evaluated for lead hazards.
By attending this session, participants will
1. Meet training requirements to become a licensed Lead Sampling Technician or Clearance Examiner
2. Be able to evaluate the quality of work done that disturbs old paint
3. Take a lead-dust wipe sample and have it analyzed for potential lead-dust hazards
