Wednesday, April 25, 2007  ·  10:40 AM - 12:20 PM

PPL Electric Utilties’ Winter Relief Assistance Program (WRAP) provides baseload and weatherization energy services to help low-income customers reduce their electric usage, increase the affordability of their electric bills, and decrease their arrearages. PPL recently undertook a comprehensive evaluation of this program to determine how they could maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their investment in WRAP services. This session will discuss the evaluation goals, methodology, and findings.

By attending this session, participants will

  1. Explore why a utility should evaluate their usage reduction program, and what to look for in an evaluation contractor
  2. Examine different aspects of usage reduction program evaluation research, what each technique contributes, and findings from these activities
  3. Learn how evaluation findings can immediately contribute to the program’s effectiveness
