CONS 4 - Consumer Feedback Devices

Wednesday, April 25, 2007  ·  8:30 AM - 10:10 AM

Usage reduction programs attempt to make program participants active partners by including energy education in the service delivery protocol. However, few programs furnish a feedback loop that will help customers understand whether their actions are effective. Explore ways to help customers understand and commit to action plans and furnish feedback to them about whether their actions have been effective.

By attending this session, participants will

1.     Learn how to help program participants develop an effective usage reduction action plan
2.     Find out about one program that furnishes feedback to participants
3.     Hear about the results of pilot research on the use of energy meters
