ACI Home Performance Conference 2007
HOUS 1 - Beyond Demonstration Projects: 1,250 Homes & Counting
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 · 10:00 AM - 11:40 AM
There are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of high performance (energy efficient, green, healthy, etc.) demonstration homes across the land, many of which are built as "affordable" housing. What are the primary lessons learned about moving from demonstration projects to routine, day-after-day production?
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn the details of a model that is currently certifying and guaranteeing energy bills of more than a house a day
- Identify the key elements of a quality assurance / feedback process
- Share experiences with others, particularly around the question of what are the biggest challenges.
