In a typical house, attics often contain some of the biggest air leaks. This can increase costs, reduce comfort, and cause moisture problems. This session examines the issues posed by attics, looks at several common problem details, and discusses materials and methods for fixing those areas in both new and existing homes.
By attending this session, participants will
- Understand why the attic / house interface is so important
- Learn about some common air leaks between an attic and a house
- Discuss a variety of materials and methods for fixing attics
