TEVE - The New ASHRAE 62.2 Standard: How it Affects You (Advanced)

Tuesday, August 15, 2006  ·  7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

The ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation standard changes how and when mechanical ventilation is called for in homes. We will briefly cover the history and evolution of this important standard and discuss how it differs from other ventilation-related benchmarks, such as BTL and BTLa. Find out how applying Standard 62.2 has changed the Wisconsin weatherization program’s approach to whole house mechanical ventilation and review field research results on ventilation effectiveness in these homes.

By attending this session, participants will
  1. Understand the foundation and evolution of ASHRAE ventilation standards up through Standard 62.2
  2. Discover how ASHRAE 62.2 changes our approach to ventilation in existing homes
  3. Integrate the lessons learned in applying 62.2 from the Wisconsin weatherization program
