Q: What meals are included in the conference?

A: Regional: continental breakfast and buffet lunch on both days; plus hors d'oeuvres at an evening reception

Q: How can I receive CEUs for attending a conference?

A: When you register for a conference, you are prompted to indicate what types of CEUs you are interested in receiving, as well as your accrediting body membership numbers. The bar code on your conference badge will contain this information. Simply ask the session assistant to scan your conference badge after each workshop or session that you attend. Verification of your attendance will automatically be sent to the applicable accrediting bodies, and you will hear from them directly.

Q: How will I know what sessions are eligible for the CEUs I have selected to receive?

A: CEUs for each event are posted on the ACI website as they are approved. In addition, CEUs for each session will be listed on the Day-at-a-Glance, which will be handed out the morning of and the evening prior.

Q: Are scholarships available?

A: The ACI Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 as a tribute to the leaders in the home performance industry who championed the “whole house” approach. Scholarship recipients from all sectors with various barriers are awarded funding to assist in their participation at ACI educational events. Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations and Refunds

There is a non-refundable cancellation fee is charged for each registration cancelled. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and received at ACI by the specified date for each event. No refunds will be honored after that date. Fees are $75 per regular conference attendee.

Q: Who should attend an ACI event?

A: Contractors, builders, remodelers, home energy raters, weatherization crews, utilities staff, program administrators, HVAC specialists, renewable energy professionals, home performance professionals, and anyone interested in the home performance industry.

Q: Will I receive an ACI certificate of attendance for attending this conference?

A: You will receive an ACI certificate of attendance if you attend a minimum of six sessions at a regional conference and nine sessions at a national conference. Please ensure that you badge is scanned at each session.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Dress comfortably. Casual dress is acceptable. 

Q: Can I record the event? 

 A: No, but the presentations are available for download for all events, and the audio recordings are offered for a small fee after our National event.  

Q: Can I bring a guest to the receptions?

A: No, but trade show-only passes are available for purchase for anyone not interested in attending the educational sessions. 

Q: Do I need to sign up for specific sessions prior to the event?

A: No, it is not necessary to register for specific sessions. We encourage attendees to review the agenda prior to and during the conference to help identify the sessions that fit their needs. You may leave a session at any time and join a new session.
